The most important characteristics we seek for this role are a willingness and desire to learn, an enthusiastic outlook, and an established ability to work in a laboratory and team environment.

You have A-levels, BTech or a B.S. degree in laboratory sciences or other related relevant field;

You have basic knowledge in laboratory procedures and equipment;

You have excellent planning and organizational skills;

You have the ability, with support, to plan and execute to clear timelines and to prioritise tasks

We are seeking a highly capable and enthusiastic Laboratory Assistant to join the Support Unit at our new South Cambridgeshire site. You will support laboratory-based scientific investigations on projects involving identification and optimisation of antibodies, by undertaking a range of routine technical tasks as part of the support unit team as well as to ensure all appropriate inventories and documentation are completed according to required standards. Your main tasks and responsibilities include:

Prepare and maintain general laboratory reagents, media and buffers or other to support lab functions according to standard procedures;

Assist in routine organization of the laboratories;

Maintain accurate laboratory records in a timely manner;

Generation of support laboratory Standard Operating Procedures and other quality documents.
