The Role
The Projects and Transformation Manager, reporting to the Chief Information Office (CIO), is responsible for leading technology-enabled business change and delivering strategic initiatives that drive operational efficiency, innovation and business value. The role combines strong project and program delivery leadership with business partnering, ensuring that initiatives are aligned with organizational priorities, executed effectively and successfully adopted across the business.
Working closely with IT and business stakeholders, the role translates business needs into practical technology solutions, manages a portfolio of transformation initiatives and ensures successful delivery of projects on time, within budget and to the expected quality standards.
Operating at the intersection of technology, business processes and organizational change, the Projects and Transformation Manager acts as a trusted advisor to business leaders, drives continuous improvement, oversees complex system implementations and integrations, and ensures appropriate attention to cybersecurity, data governance and compliance requirements throughout all transformation activities.
The Projects and Transformation Manager contributes to the development and execution of the organization's transformation strategy, fostering innovation, strengthening governance, and enabling sustainable business growth through effective change delivery.
Key responsibilities
IT Delivery Leadership (65%)
Lead business and technology projects from planning through delivery.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and deliver expected business value.
Establish clear project governance, reporting, and risk management practices.
Manage system implementations, upgrades, integration, and process improvement initiatives.
Coordinate business stakeholders, IT teams and external vendors.
Ensure quality, compliance, validation and governance requirements are met.
Drive change management, user adoption and benefits realization.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to leadership.
Ensure cybersecurity, data protection and privacy requirements are considered throughout project delivery.
IT Business Partnering (35%)
Partner with business leaders to identify and deliver transformation opportunities.
Translate business needs into practical technology solutions and project roadmaps.
Manage demand, priorities and investment decisions across the project portfolio.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across all business functions.
Ensure initiatives deliver measurable business value and operational improvements.
Support process optimization, digitalization, automation and innovation initiatives.
Promote alignment with data governance, cybersecurity, privacy and enterprise architecture standards.
Provide guidance and recommendations to support business goals and transformation objectives.
Your Profile
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
5–10 years of experience leading digital transformation, IT programs, or enterprise portfolios.
Proven experience working with senior business stakeholders and executive leadership.
Experience delivering ERP, CRM, BPM, LIMS, QMS or similar core enterprise platforms.
Strong background in vendor and systems integrator management.
Strong portfolio and program management capabilities, including execution governance, risk and issue management, and vendor oversight.
Solid business acumen with experience in process mapping, business modelling, and benefits realization to drive measurable business outcomes.
Strong understanding of system integrations, data platforms, cybersecurity, privacy, and regulated system delivery (validation and audit readiness).
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and change management skills to drive adoption and organizational transformation.
Certifications preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe/Agile, ITIL. Fluent English required.
