The Role
As an Intern in the Discovery & Engineering team, the responsibility is to independently execute experiments and contribute to antibody discovery workflows by troubleshooting protocols and optimizing methods. Provide technical support to senior team members and collaborate in achieving project goals.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine laboratory tasks, including reagent preparation, cell culture maintenance, and sample management, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) independently
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, proactively seeking guidance when challenges arise
Being able to support the preparation and presentation of project reports
Assist senior team members with experimental setup and day-to-day lab operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely project progress
Your Profile
Eligible for IEFP [+TALENTO] internship
Master's degree in Biological Sciences or related field
Experience in routine assays supporting discovery projects (e.g., ELISA, SDS/WB, cell-based assays), with strong problem-solving, data analysis, and documentation skills
Ability to follow SOPs for routine tasks, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Strong communication skills, with the ability to proactively consult with team members and supervisors when troubleshooting challenges
Demonstrated eagerness to learn and develop technical expertise
Basic understanding, some relevant experience and behaviours, some autonomy and minimal supervision required for assay set-up
