The Role

This role of Field Marketing Specialist contributes to how FairJourney Bio engages with scientific and commercial audiences.

The primary purpose of the role is to support the development and delivery of FairJourney Bio's Field Marketing activities, strengthening customer engagement, commercial growth and brand visibility through integrated marketing initiatives, including scientific conferences, customer events and commercial activations. Working closely with the Marketing and Business Development teams, you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of FairJourney Bio's presence at scientific conferences and events, helping to create engaging experiences that strengthen our brand and generate commercial opportunities.

Key Responsibilities


  • Facilitate the planning and delivery of FairJourney Bio's field marketing activations, including scientific conferences, exhibitions, customer events and commercial initiatives.

  • Coordinate event logistics, promotional materials, booth requirements and activation activities, ensuring alignment with FairJourney Bio's brand standards.

  • Contribute to the management of the annual field marketing activation calendar, contributing to the prioritization of conferences and events based on commercial objectives and expected return on investment.

  • Coordinate FairJourney Bio's memberships with scientific societies, biotechnology clusters and industry organizations across Europe and North America.

  • Work closely with the Business Development team to support the conversion of scientific and industry relationships into commercial opportunities.

  • Support the development and maintenance of commercial marketing materials, sales enablement content and event collateral.

  • Coordinate lead capture activities during conferences and events, ensuring accurate information is collected and shared with Business Development.

  • Gather and share market intelligence from conferences, customer interactions and industry events to support commercial activities.

  • Monitor and report key performance indicators related to field marketing activities, including qualified meetings, opportunities and pipeline generation.

  • Post event reviews by collecting performance data and identifying opportunities to improve future field marketing activities.

  • Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, conference organizers and scientific partners.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of field marketing processes, tools and ways of working as the function continues to develop.

Travel Requirements

This role requires occasional travel, primarily to scientific conferences, exhibitions, customer events and meetings across Europe and North America. Travel between FairJourney Bio sites may also be required based on business needs.

Your Profile

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences or a related discipline.

  • Approximately 2–3 years of experience in Marketing, Field Marketing or Brand Activation, within a B2B environment.

  • Understanding of scientific conferences, professional societies and industry events.

  • Experience of working alongside Business Development or commercial teams.

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and marketing performance measurement.

  • Strong organizational, planning and communication skills.

  • Commercial awareness and the ability to contribute to lead generation and customer engagement activities.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within global teams.

  • Fluency in English.

Nice to have

  • Experience in Field Marketing or Account Based Marketing within organizations with long B2B sales cycles.

  • Experience organizing customer events as well as third party conferences.

  • Previous exposure to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical or life sciences sector is desirable.

  • Existing relationships within the European or North American biotechnology ecosystem.
