The Role
The Accounting Project Management will contribute to the financial integrity of the organization by applying a strong combination of accounting and audit experience, particularly from a Big4 environment. This role is ideal for someone who naturally bridges accounting and audit functions, brings a structured project management approach, and is comfortable managing complex financial tasks with a high level of accuracy. The Accounting Project Management will support financial reporting, oversee key accounting processes, assist in strengthening internal controls, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead general ledger activities and ensure accurate, compliant financial records.
Manage complex reconciliations and support efficient month-end and year-end close processes.
Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring alignment with GAAP/IFRS.
Provide insights in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Lead the development and enhancement of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Act as a key liaison between accounting and audit teams, ensuring alignment and readiness for both internal and external audits.
Offer financial analysis and recommendations to management.
Contribute to cross-functional financial projects using structured project management skills.
Promote best practices in accounting and controls.
Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure financial accuracy across processes.
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, Master’s preferred.
5–8 years of progressive experience in accounting and/or audit, with Big4 experience strongly preferred.
Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting requirements.
Demonstrated experience working between accounting and audit functions.
Solid project management skills with a structured, proactive approach.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to explain complex financial topics to non-financial stakeholders.
Adaptability to changing business and regulatory environments.
Strong team collaboration skills and commitment to high-quality work.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English are essential.
